Individual Therapy

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” Mary Oliver

Together, we can uncover what matters most to you. Let’s help you get aligned. Through the therapeutic relationship, my clients feel safe to explore the charged areas of their life that hold both the challenge, as well as the promise, for growth and change.

I support my clients to discover and integrate mindfulness practices that work for them. I’m relational, collaborative and warm. In therapy, we’ll work together to empower you to recognize your relational patterns so that you can more effectively understand and communicate your needs, wants and desires. I give clients body-based tools to help them stay present, become less anxious and enjoy their experience more. Building awareness into your experience can help you identify patterns that may need changing and helps you to make more empowered choices about how you want to live your life. I encourage clients to slow down and listen to themselves. Clients are often surprised by their own knowing and wisdom.

Families & Relationship Therapy

“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there.” Rumi

Parenting is hard and families need support to function at their best. Family sessions provide a structured space through which communication, expression and healing can occur.

Families find it helpful to have a navigator who can steer them through difficult conversations about boundary setting, expectations and parenting styles.

It’s possible you’d like to discover new ways of being with your loved one/s so that you're not stuck in unproductive relational cycles. I work with couples that are in poly and dyadic relationships to increase intimacy and decrease tension. I have experience working with families and couples as they navigate uncoupling, divorce and blended families.

Kids & Adolescents

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” Marianne Williamson

As a teacher and school counselor, I know how important it is for kids and teens to have someone that they trust and can talk to.  Whether we’re playing games, doing art or other experiential activities, I pride myself in my ability to connect with kids and teens. Home visits allow me to see kids in their personal environments, so that I can best pinpoint dynamics that need tweaking and areas in which parents may have concerns.

So often the kid and teen years become ripe with tension and lack communication. It’s critical that kids and teens have an outlet. I work with them to tap into their somatic experience so that from this young age, they can build tools to manage anxiety, stress and overwhelm. Mental health care is so important for everyone, especially for kids and teens since we know that half of all lifetime mental health concerns start by age 14.
